Our Team

Frank Steyaert

Frank Steyaert

Frank is our enthusiastic managing director. He finished school when the first personal computers rolled off the conveyor belts. Sometimes we even think that the very first one sat on his desk. He worked for a short time at a university computer center and for a long time in sales and maintenance of computer hardware. He started SHpartners in 1998, and has determined strategy since then, along with the other shareholders. He checks our figures and our productivity.

Peter Bressinck

Peter Bressinck

Peter is our musician. With a smile and whistle he mapped out communication plans for major players in the telecom sector and supervised CRM and E-commerce projects in a lyrical fashion at small and medium sized businesses and multi-nationals. For us, he especially supports the customer as an entrepreneur to be able to deliver all projects in the correct rhythm and at an attainable pitch. In his leisure time you will find him on a nearby stage or in his music studio where, of course, he is a passionate Apple user.

Pieter Claerhout

Pieter Claerhout

Pieter prefers Apples.  He's been using the Macintosh since 1998. First as a Prinergy specialist at Kodak Graphics and afterwards as web developer at SHpartners.  He's also the greediest on the team: PHP, mySQL, FileMaker, JavaScript, etc. he chows them down all day long, non-stop.  And he just goes on and on at night. Then he writes the Yellow Duck PHP framework, for example.

Michael Coninx

Michael Coninx

Michael is our healthiest one. Not because he comes from the Noorderkempen. And not because he has been sharing his fresh look on web applications (especially Lasso) and FileMaker with us for two years now. But because he continuously leads himself and others in a healthy and sporty lifestyle. By dedicating himself after work fully to athletics as coach and club secretary.

Danny De Vylder

Danny De Vylder

Danny knows his world. Since getting his informatics diploma in 1982 he has worked at number of large companies. As a developer, consultant and trainer. He has been doing the same jobs exclusively for us since 2002. We find his interest in interfaces and development standards tending towards a passion. But, then again, he reserves that word for photography.

Luk Dhondt

Luk Dhondt

Luk is our product marketing guy. He manages the releases of our applications for myFMbutler (FileMaker plug-ins such as PrinterSwitch) and RovingBird (Touring Mobilis for iPhone, e.g.). His diploma says that he has a Master's degree in translation but we know better. Because Luk is an informatics animal who has been head-over-heels in love with the Mac and FileMaker for the past twenty years and a few years ago the iPhone was added to the list.

Lieven Gekiere

Lieven Gekiere

Lieven is our web wizard. When in 1995 we were still asking ourselves what exactly email was, he developed and managed the website of Piens MusicPlanet. He was also the network manager and e-commerce manager there. Since coming to SHpartners in 2005, he has immersed himself in Lasso & FileMaker and has collected certificate after certificate as recognized developer. Small curiosity: Lieven maintains fabulously beautiful gardens. Real as well as virtual.

Ronald Jacobs

Ronald Jacobs

Ronald is our data informatics junkie. Because he is addicted to pc and mac, to FileMaker and neat databases. But especially: to complex applications and machines in practice. Such as scales and scanners operated by FileMaker. And custom-made software that operates factories and helps employees. Sure, he loves to take his wife and kids on a trip or to the movies now and then. But real enjoyment he especially gets behind his keyboard.

Spencer Pieters

Spencer Pieters

Spencer has a flair for languages, programming languages that is. He developed Windows software for over 10 years. In 2008 he bought an iPhone and a MacBook and the rest, as they say, is history. He has a passion for all things Apple and mobile software. He builds iPhone and iPad apps for the RovingBird division. In his spare time, he likes to experiment with Android & Windows Phone 7.

Vera Van Belle

Vera Van Belle

Vera keeps our ship on course. She keeps the VAT and the tax authority at a distance, sees to it that our books are perfectly in order and manages our administration. Her experience in informatics and as tax accountant make her cut-out for that role. Besides, she does everything with a big smile on her face. And if you call us to make an appointment or request information, it’s her voice that you will hear on your phone.

Koen Van Hulle

Koen Van Hulle

After a graphic design training, Koen came in contact in 1999 with FileMaker Pro 4 as a web developer. After flirting for a few years with ASP and Microsoft SQL Server, FileMaker 2001 won back his love. That year he also became a fulltime colleague and started clarify.net with Peter Wagemans. Today, besides FileMaker developer, he is also co-parent of myFMbutler Clip Manager and our first iPhone-application “Touring Mobilis” and fierce daddy of Mathias.

Ward Van Ooteghem

Ward Van Ooteghem

Ward is our (and your) help line. Because he is the problem-solver par excellence at our sister company 1Support. He studied and worked for years in a Windows environment but switched a handful of years ago to Apple. Result: he switches effortlessly between Finder and Explorer, juggles with .exe and .app and answers all your IT-questions - irrespective of your operating system. Really true. We ourselves still look for problems that he cannot solve

Glenn Vercnocke

Glenn Vercnocke

Glenn is a development aid worker. Because when the rest of us walk around with our heads in the clouds, he reminds us of our tasks. Development. And preferably in FileMaker – which is not coincidentally his specialty. He came to strengthen the team in 2000 and was then still very active in Aikido and Tai Chi. But that was back in the days that the Red Devils could still win. Nowadays, he mainly looks through the lens of his camera.

Peter Wagemans

Peter Wagemans

Peter loves to share his knowledge. And Peter has an incredible amount of knowledge. With his experience at Apple, Ingram and Claris and his insights into FileMaker, he always adds something to each project. And he gladly talks about that on the Clarify.net forum, which he once got going as the driving force. Plus, Peter is also the developer of several products in the myFMbutler series.
